Beware! Do NOT shop at Jim's Wines & Liquors! The owner up-charges the customers when they are not looking. I see on my receipt that an adjustment was made which charged more than he told me I was paying.
I feel compelled to point this out because of the harsh comments here regarding their service. The staff is all older, 60+. When you come in and ask for them to dig through a container of small bottles for you to find the ones you're looking for instead of doing it yourself as the /display intends/, then yeah they are probably not going to like that very much, I sure wouldn't. It's like asking a price chopper employee to pick out, weigh, and bag your vegetables for you. Really it's quite stupid to expect someone to /stop their service/ and /halt a line/ to perform something you could have /more easily/ done for yourself. Give them the same basic human respect you yourself desire, and they are the nicest business in all of Glen's Falls. I'm in this place multiple times a week and have yet to see anything but friendly professionalism.
The only liquor place we will use since moving to Glen's Falls. Wonderful selection and knowledgeable staff. The staff is very warm and friendly and constantly asks for your opinion on whatever youre buying so they may use that information for others. The service is excellent, I've watched them spend a lot of time looking for bottles and recommending brands for people, much more so than other stores.
Great selection for the size of the store. Plus the people are able to order specific drinks for you.
Always happy with the service here. Small store but ample selection. Convenient location near Exit 18 area on west side of Glens Falls. Specials when you walk in the door.
Everytime I go there the people working are attentive and helpful. They have a good selection of wines. The offer 10% off if you purchase an entire case of wine.
